2015 was a year of travel, adventures, and friendships. This year, I broke out of my comfort zone and, as cliché as it may sound, I got to know myself better. Getting to where I am now was not an easy journey (and not cheap!) but it was all worth it.
As I bid goodbye to a happy year, I look back at some of the best memories I’ve had as a wanderluster.
Mt. Pulag gave me a high that lasted for weeks, months even. Here are some of the best memories I have from this awesome trip.
Four hours of trekking. Slips and slides. Shortness of breath as you go upward the slope. Chilly breeze touching your cheeks as you repeatedly ask yourself why you’re doing this. All of this, you’ll forget as soon as you reach Mount Pulag’s peak and take in the beautiful, glorious view.
The road to Pulag is an adventure on its own. In just 12 hours since meeting the new guys, we’ve managed to bond over food, top-loading, bridge crossing, and tons of photo ops. But we have yet to see the best part.
